Continuity of care
Here at Severn View Family Practice we are moving to a continuity of care model to strengthen personal relationships between patients and their clinicians. As part of this, you will be allocated a specific GP at our practice. We will aim for all routine and ongoing appointments to be with them, though other team members may help with acute issues or cover holidays.
You will be sent separate communication with your allocated GP’s name. Once you receive your allocated GP details, you’ll be able to swap once — simply reply to that message if there's someone specific you would prefer.

Mounjaro
Weight loss drugs
We understand the media is reporting that Mounjaro is now available under the NHS; however, not all areas are able to offer this service at this time. As we’re in an area where this service is not yet available, unfortunately we can’t help with queries or requests for this at the present time.
Once this service does become available, it will be for only:
Patients over 18, with a BMI of 40+, or 37.5+ if you’re from a Black, Asian or other minority ethnic background and have four or more weight-related health conditions, such as Type II diabetes, hypertension and heart disease.
We understand the media is reporting that Mounjaro is now available under the NHS, but it’s really important to note that this is ONLY for a limited group of patients.
You must be over 18, with a BMI of 40+, or 37.5+ if you’re from a Black, Asian or other minority ethnic background and have four or more weight-related health conditions, such as Type II diabetes, hypertension and heart disease.
