Book an appointment

If you need to see your GP, then you can book an appointment online using our online system, telephone or in person at the desk. Our appointments are booked at 15-minute intervals. Some appointments such as INR blood tests for Warfarin and Smear tests are able to be booked via the NHS App.

Please be aware if you request an appointment your request will be triaged and will be directed to the most appropriate person/ place for treatment, this can incude GP's, Advanced care practitioners, Pharmacy referrals, Physiotherapists, Minor Injuries units, A&E or 999.

How to book an appointment

You can book an appointment using the following methods:

  • Book online to see a clinician by using our online system Klinik. Click the link at the bottom of the page to complete the Triage form  and you will be contacted with an appointment / advice.  Appointments may be face to face or telephone call and will be decided by the clinician triaging your form so please add complete and accurate information.
  • Call the surgery and a Receptionist will complete the triage form for you - this will be the same form as is completed on the online system Klinik. Please call 01454412599
  • Visit the surgery and a Receptionist will help you complete the triage form - please be aware that this may mean asking for personal information over the desk- alternatively they can show you how to use the triage form on our iPad situated in the reception area.

Pharmacy referrals

In some cases a Pharmacy referral or advice may be more suitable than a GP appointment in which case you will be contacted with the information.

Pharmacists can give you advice on a range of conditions and suggest medicines that can help. They can also help you with any queries you may have about your medicines, including how to use them and advice on side effects.

Pharmacists may also be able to offer treatment and some prescription medicine for some conditions, without you needing to see a GP (this is called Pharmacy First). Conditions they can treat as part of Pharmacy First are:

    • earache (aged 1 to 17 years)
    • impetigo (aged 1 year and over)
    • infected insect bites (aged 1 year and over)
    • shingles (aged 18 years and over)
    • sinusitis (aged 12 years and over)
    • sore throat (aged 5 years and over)
    • urinary tract infections or UTIs (women aged 16 to 64 years)
